Serbian is a South Slavonic language (on the western branch) spoken in Serbia. It is mutually intelligble with Croatian, Montenegrin and Bosnian.
There are five other official langauges used in Serbia: Hungarian, Romanian, Rusyn, Slovak and Croatian.
It can and is written using either the roman or cyrillic alphabets.
