Slovak

The language is inflected, nouns have three genders, and adjectives agree with nouns. So, for instance, 'my' (a possesive) may be môj, moja or môj, moje when describing masculine, feminine and neuter nouns (in the nominative).

Môj otec 'my father', moja matka 'my mother' and moje auto 'my car' being examples of masculine, feminine and neuter nouns.

Polish and Slovak are closely related (mutually intelligible) and this can be seen here with the possessive 'my'. The Polish equivalent in the masculine, feminine and neuter (nominative) is mój, moja, moje.
